Installation of the synthetic turf
Synthetic turf field installation
The installation of an artificial turf system begins with the inspection and preparation of the sub-base, which must ensure adequate stability and drainage. The rolls are then unrolled, positioned and aligned with precision, before being joined and finished in accordance with the project layout.
Once the surface has been installed, the infill specified for the system is added, which contributes to the stability of the surface and the required sporting performance. The final stage involves brushing and evenly distributing the infill, making the pitch ready for use.
Installation
The rolls of synthetic turf are unrolled and positioned with precision on the suitably prepared sub-base, ensuring the correct alignment of the joints and the playing surface.
Infill
The surface is filled with specific materials, such as a stabilising infill (silica sand) and a performance infill (SBR, EPDM or organic infill), which may vary depending on the selected system and the required specifications.
Brushing
Final brushing distributes the materials evenly and lifts the fibres, making the turf ready for use and ensuring a uniform, high-performing appearance.
